happy new year :)

happy new year dear people. may it bring you peace, love, abundance of creativity and above all good health.

it has been a very long time since i’ve even visited these pages and finally after a whirlwind kind of a busy 2007 and just before the 2008 has a chance to do the same i would like to say a huuge thank you to all of you who have visited this little pocket in cyberspace and for all of your kind words that have really meant much to me.

this blog started as a kind of an anonymous sketchbook where i would collect wonderful things that inspire me while completing my jewellery course. and although i am happy to say i’ve completed my course in november it did take a toll on this little haven of mine.
i’ve met some wonderful, creative, inspiring people through this blog and i need to tell you it is simply a treat to visit your creative worlds.

i have made a new year's resolution that ’08 is going to be about tying loose ends (all of those things i’ve swept under the carpet over time, some even for years!) and of new beginnings.

in that vain, and although reluctantly, i will need to say goodbye to ‘ma roulotte’ blog. i will keep it up as my little archive of gorgeous finds but it is simply the time to start new ventures.

i am preparing a web site to support my jewellery practice that should be ready very soon, end of this month i hope. so please stop by when you get a chance (www.djurdjicakesic.com).

It was really beautiful to wake up to the sound of pouring rain (I practically forgot what a beautiful sound the pouring rain makes). It was so very needed. But we need more of it. A lot more!
